Community Garden Registration Day is March 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We will be at the South Norfolk Community Garden, 1014 Jefferson St., on Saturday March 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with garden box applications. A $10 donation is requested with each application to help with garden expenses. The South Norfolk Neighborhood Watch Group Inc. formed a committee in March of 2012 to discuss the possibility of a community garden in South Norfolk. The committee established its goals, a property was located and planning began. The new property was cleared in June.
